Maryana Yavdyk is a licensed North Carolina attorney. Ms. Yavdyk's practice encompasses a wide scope of areas of the law, including Personal Injury, Immigration Law, Family Law and Traffic matters. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and Juris Doctorate from Charlotte School of Law.
Fighting for justice has always been Maryana’s greatest passion. Prior to opening her own law practice, Ms. Yavdyk has practiced alongside well established local Personal Injury and Immigration law firms. From the beginning of her career, she has been highly engaged in serving the ones in need. Maryana has assisted refugees and new immigrants through a variety of social programs designed to help them successfully navigate their new lives, and remains utterly dedicated to this mission
In her practice, Maryana takes an approach that “honesty is the best policy.” She is adept to working with people from diverse backgrounds, and strives to achieve the best results through hard work and total commitment to professional excellence. Ms. Yavdyk speaks fluent English, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Our team
Ms. Rizhkova is a legal assistant who joined Yavdyk Law Firm in 2019. She specializes in the areas of Immigration and Personal Injury. Ms. Rizhkova is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in International Business and in Spanish Language. She is a client-focused, computer-savvy and hardworking legal assistant with a history of exemplary-rated performance within our law firm. Ms. Rizhkova coordinates logistics and document preparation for court proceedings, meetings, and internal operations. She is a skilled translator and interpreter of spoken and written Spanish, Russian and English languages.
Ms. Vardanian is a legal assistant at Yavdyk Law, who has been part of the Firm since its founding. She is a graduate of the Brooklyn College of the City University of New York where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Ms. Vardanian is a highly professional assistant with a comprehensive command of legal, office, administrative and clerical support functions, with the ability to perform under strong demands in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. She possesses substantial experience in delivering Ukrainian, Russian and English interpretation and translation services for a variety of legal proceedings. Her passion for helping people who have lived through a traumatic experience has led her to pursue a career in the medical field, where she currently works towards obtaining a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy.
